Also a window that opens. Down the hall is a 4-pce bathroom, a dining area, full kitchen and a familyroom with 35" TV/DVD. There are 3 large windows with double blinds. Laundry facilities is right off the suite and you are delegated a laundry time. The familyroom also has a double size pull-out sofa bed so the suite can accommodate 4 people quite comfortably. Parking is on-site and guests can use the rear patio that has lots of seating and lounge areas with views of the raised perennial gardens.

Built in 1949, our second home is a relaxing escape, experience old Florida charm with modern amenities. Enjoy New Smyrna Beach like a local. Tongue and groove pine walls and heart of pine floors through out the home. The large country kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, burled beach counters and front loading HE washer and dryer hidden in the bar. All new dishes, glassware, pots and pans. Lovingly remodeled with attention to every detail. Each piece of furniture was picked for it's space to be warm and welcoming. The living room is inviting and comfortable with lots of space to relax and watch the large TV with Sony home theater system. We also have free unlimited local and long distance telephone calls. (US and Canada) The master bedroom or "Captain's Quarters" has the romantic feel of days gone by with 400 thread count linens, a 32" flat screen TV with HD/DVR cable and DVD along with high speed wireless internet connection. (Wireless card needed.) The "Key West" bedroom is bright, lively and fun, with 400 thread count bed linens and a 27 in. SDTV flatscreen with cable and DVD. The "Surf Shack" has a tin ceiling, white washed walls and twin pine beds with designer bed linens. Enjoy playing the PS2, or watching cable TV in this too cool room, dude. Beautiful, serene and private, 300 steps from the beach. Our large treed lot with more than 30 palm trees is fully fenced in back for privacy and storage for your boat, motorcycle or what ever you want kept off the street. Make smores on the fire pit, just relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the fire or rock your cares away in the large new hammock. A white picket fence surrounds the front for quaint beach charm, enjoy the view from the porch rocking chairs. We have beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, 2 surf boards, 2 skim boards and life jackets included for our guests stored in our garage along with the gas grill. And to clean off all of the beach sand that follows you home...an enclosed outdoor shower next to the back screened porch. Rocky Mountain Escape

Rocky Mountain Escape offers private, secluded log guest cabins and a variety of year-round, nature-oriented activities. The 'Escape cabins are nestled amongst the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies, adjacent to Jasper National Park. Cabins: We currently have three guest cabins, each hand-crafted log, 480 sq ft with an open design (only the bathroom is enclosed), and visually isolated in order to enhance guest privacy. Each cabin is equipped with a queen-sized bed, sofa (1 cabin) or double fold-down futon (2 cabins), a full bath (tub/shower unit with hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing!), a wood burning stove and double propane burner for complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We provide all bedding and linen, of course, and kindling and firewood is stacked on your deck for use in the stove. Meals: As we are in a relatively remote location, there is no cooking allowed in our cabins. Instead, your guide and host serves hearty, wholesome, family-style meals out of a central cook house - complete with fresh goodies baked in her wood cook stove. The cook house is a simple frame structure and may be considered the "rustic" part of the operation. Individual dietary preferences are gladly accommodated. Activities: During our non-snow months, we offer guided, interpretive day hikes, horseback riding, canoeing, whitewater rafting and fishing. Once we get a good snow base (about mid-November through mid-April), we offer cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Hiking and horseback riding may also be enjoyed as multi-day adventures. Rates: Peak season (June 1 to October 1) rates are $125 (Cdn) per adult per night, based on double occupancy. Rates include your private cabin accommodation, all meals, guided day hikes, use of the 'Escape's canoe and transportation to and from trailheads. Rates for additional adults and/or children 6 to 16 years of age are half-priced, inclusive. There is no charge for children 5 years of age and under. Off-season (Ocober 1 to June 1) rates are $100 (Cdn) per adult per night, based on double occupancy as above. We have both cross-country skis and snowshoes available for guest use (no charge) and will gladly provide transportation into the cabins if guests do not have a 4-wheel drive.
