We have lovely views of both mountains and sea just from the front of the house. Just take a stroll down the road a frew metres and you will come to the cliff tops with paths meandering along to the sandy beaches which have safe bathing waters, and which lie below sheltering craggy cliffs. We offer our guests good home cooked food in spacious relaxing accommodation. Velog sits at the Gateway to the Snowdonia National Park with its many attractions and activities from Portmerrion - the pretty Italianaite village made famous by the Prisnor servies on TV, Narrow Gauge railways of Ffestiniog, Welsh-Highland and Snowdon Mountain railway, Castles of Harlech, Criccieth, Beaumaris, Caernarfon to name but a few. Location : Cefalù / Sicilia / ItalyOn the hills overlooking Cefalù and its bay, we have a small complex with 5 apartments for rent. It is surrounded by olive and citrus groves, vines and bougainvillae. Every apartment has their own , big terrace with shade, palm leaves and sun. there is a small pool which everyone can use. There are apartments for 2, but as well for 5. if you are with a bigger group you could take 2 apartments next to each other. I reccommend you rent a car because on foot it'll take you about 30 minutes down a steep road to get to town. Cefalù is a nice little town with charateristique little streets, nice terraces, good food, beaches with sand and stone. it is situated in the middle of the north coast and by motorway it is easy to make daily tours around the island. Nearby you can do watersports, hiking and biking in the mountains and ofcourse in Sicily there are lots of remains of the different cultures which reigned the island.

It has been fully restored to give modern accommodation with 4 bedrooms and fully fitted kitchen. There is a large garden with private pool, fenced and alarmed for your security. A covered terrace surrounds the house on two sides, facing the pool and garden with outside garden table and chairs for eating alfresco on those warm sunny evenings. From the terrace there is an open view across the garden to the west and the Chateau de Montreal. The large garden has children's swings and outdoors table tennis and other games. The pool is a 5m x 10m infinity pool with varying depth from 1.20m to 1.80m. INSIDE THE PROPERTY Entering the property there is a good sized fully fitted kitchen / dining room with large (expanding) dining table. There is everything you need to cook and serve a lovely French meal to enjoy inside or out on the terrace. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric oven, gas/electric hob and extractor, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and microwave. Location : Garrucha / Andalucia / SpainOur house is part of the lovely Fuentemar Complex, with its well maintained gardens and superb pools. You will find ceiling fans and air conditioning in all the main rooms. The kitchen area has all the equipment required for a perfect holiday, this includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron/ ironing board, microwave, hob and oven. The lounge has 2 comfortable sofas, one of which converts into a double bed. There is also a full size table and chairs & rocking chair for you to sit back and relax. There is a TV with SKY for the English Channels. The bedrooms are nicely furnished. The bathroom is fully equipped and includes a full sized bath with overhead shower. There is a great roof terrace with views of the surrounding mountains for sunbathing & enjoying that glass of sangria. The pools are one minute from the house, with a separate pool for the little ones. The house is close to a variety of restaurants and has many attractions close by including some of the best golf in Spain. Unlike the main tourist area of Mojacar, Garrucha gives you the real feel of the Andalusian way of life. Garrucha has a working fishing fleet & port, where fishing boats go out daily and the local restaurants still buy their fish. You feel that you are in Spain mixing with the locals, tasting fresh fish tapas along the port, shopping with the locals in the huge weekly markets, eating in traditional Spanish restaurants. This is an area where you will still get to practise your Spanish. However, should you wish to be amongst a more English crowd, Mojacar beach is just 5 mins drive away, so you have the best of both worlds. 'The hustle and bustle when you want it' and the escape to the peace and quiet when you don't. There are many restaurants of every nationality, bars, snooker & live music close by. To work off some of that food, golf, water sports facilities, paragliding, the local aqua park, karting, scuba diving, and tennis are all available in this lovely area. Things to do & See: About 5 minutes drive from the house is a great Aquapark, brilliant for children and adults of any age. Around 10 minutes drive is Mojacar village, a quaint Moorish village. With it's cobbled streets and white washed houses it has spectacular views. For all you cowboy buffs Mini Hollywood Theme Park is about 45 minutes away, a wild west town is recreated with shows, cowboy museum, restaurants, a zoo with an array of animals. This is where A Fistful of Dollars was filmed along with other famous westerns. Close by at Vera Town is the Vera Bull Ring, this is a historical bull fighting ring, you will have a guided tour by an ex-matador, who revels in his description of this event. There are still bull fights held here today Around 2 hours away after a picturesque ride, is the magnificent city of Granada where you can marvel at the world famous Alhambra Palace, and enjoy the Moorish city itself.

Enjoy delightful valley walks, climb the Pikes, hike over to Grasmere, stroll along the river to Elterwater or Dungeon Ghjyll or take the local bus to other attractions. By car avoid the busy centres and take the back roads to Coniston, Hawkshead and the ferry to Windermere; or for real wilderness the Wrynose and Hardknott passes are nearby and will lead you over the mountains to the little Eskdale railway and the sea! Chapel Stile is a small quaint village boasting the friendliest Co-op in England which sells delicious local produce and almost anything you could need.
