Location : Varna / Varna / BulgariaTraditional villa in Varna, Bulgaria. On the shore of Varna bay. Very romantic. Fishing rods supplied. Ideal for fishing, boating, windsurfing, and watersports. There is a free boat, outboard motor, and canoe. The villa has a lot of character, is only 12 years old, and is comfortable and homely. It was newly decorated and furnished in 2004. It has apricot, hazelnut, apple, cherry, fig, and plum trees, and an outdoor "summer kitchen", and garden furniture, with many chairs and a wooden garden table over 2.5m long, an outdoor oven that can take 2 sheep, and a smaller barbeque. It is under a fig tree, about 8m from the villa, and has one open side. Very friendly local fishermen are in this area, it is unspoilt and undeveloped. There are absolutely no tourists, or tourist facilities, which all are in the other side of the town. In this area, the donkey or horse and cart are still in use. Magnificent views of the bay. There are three small shops within 15 minutes walk. Varna city centre is a 10 minute drive, and has several large open air markets, fish market, cinemas, clubs, and usual tourist facilities. There are buses to the centre and to beaches in Varna (15 mins. ride) and other towns up along the coast. The water temperature is usually 25 - 27 Centigrade in the summer! The villa is in a green protected area, containing reeds and trees. The lower floor of the villa is for the staff, and has not been re-decorated yet. Although this is a self catering villa, there is a part-time maid provided if required, to help with light cleaning, hoovering etc. There is also usually someone who can help with the boats and any general enquiries. (No extra cost for staff). The upper floor of the villa has three double bedrooms, (usually king-size double beds), living room, bathroom (containing a bath and shower attachment), hall/reception used as a kitchen, balcony, and external access. One of the bedrooms also has external access, as well as internal access to the living room. Linen is provided, microwave, fridge freezer, cooker. Small towels (not beach towels) are provided, and there is no air-conditioning, central heating, TV, telephone, or dish washer. The washing machine is downstairs as the maid can deal with any washing of clothes, or you may use the washing machine yourself if preferred. Housekeeping and linen services are included. Frequency of housekeeping services can be arranged to suit guests' schedule and needs for privacy. Children welcomed. Location : Reglois, cmne Alligny-en-Morvan / Bourgogne / FranceThe gîte is clean, comfort- able, light and airy. It is situated on the first floor of outbuildings adjoining the proprietors house. There is a large barn between the gîte and the house that ensures the privacy of both parties. In the living room there is good quality antique furniture, two comfortable armchairs, a colour television and a wood-burning stove. The living room is separated from the good sized kitchen by a breakfast bar. The kitchen has an electric cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, double sink and all the usual electrical equipment. The shower room has a wash basin, a WC, a shower and a washing machine. The bedroom has an antique sculpted bed; all bed linen, duvet and towels are provided. The total surface area of the gite is 42 M2. Outside there is a large balcony provided with quality cast metal furniture. This balcony overlooks the countryside at the rear of the property. From the balcony there is access to a small gravelled yard, which in turn leads to a large garden and orchard of approximately 0.5 H / 1 acre. The gravelled yard is fully fenced but the large garden and orchard are not. The yard, garden and orchard are for the use of the gîte guests. Reglois is a small hamlet in the commune of Alligny-en-Morvan situated in the Morvan Natural Park. It is in the Haut Morvan and nestles on a gently sloping hillside that faces south. The air is pure and clear because the altitude is 528 M / 1730 Ft and the nearest city is approximately100 km / 60 miles away. There are panoramic views of the Morvan to the south towards Mont Beauvary. Reglois is surrounded by unspoilt meadows and forest. The early spring produces a crop of cowslips, oxlips and wild daffodils and later hidden in some parts of the forest there are lily of the valley. In the meadows and forest the autumn produces an abundant crop of mushrooms and other edible fungi where for a little diligent searching one can indulge in the rarer and more exotic tastes that nature provides. In the meadows there are many types of butterfly, many of which have been irrevocably lost to a great extent in the rest of Europe, by the use of intensive factory farming.The surrounding wild areas support a large number of different animals and birds; there are wild boar, deer and many other smaller animals. There are many different raptors, buzzards, black kite, red kite, peregrine falcons. For those who prefer country sports there are ample facilities close by, there are several stables where horses can be hired for trekking, at Lac Settons a large number of water sports are catered for. The most popular sport in the area is fishing and there are several lakes and rivers that produce very good catches and if you prefer to just sit on the bank and relax the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside is second to none and must be experienced to be appreciated. Within easy driving distance there are many interesting places to be found
