The apartment is situated close to the Praca, the main beach area at Vale do Lobo. It is a safe, clean, 'blue flag' beach for families. The beach recently underwent a 2 million Euro upgrade which has widened and extended the beach, reclaiming several million tonnes of sand, making it much larger than it has been in recent years. There are sunloungers are for hire. The hire cost also includes a 'flag' system on the chair which when raised a waiter appears to take your drinks order. Read more about the beach and local area. The rates are available please email the owner for details, costs and distance details. A securing deposit must be paid on time of booking this is 50% of the total booking cost. The balance is to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of €200 is payable before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days after departure if the property has been left in an appropriate condition. Sorry but this property is not available for groups of young adults. Cancellation refunds: Up to 8 weeks - no loss except administration charge. 4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks - no refund

The pool is as natural as possible: spring-fed (silky smooth on the skin)through 600 mtrs of black piping in the full sun, with foot-friendly fine shingle bottom. No chlorine, pumps or boring tiles! Stands in lush green countryside, amongst the loveliest and most diverse in Europe, yet unspoiled by mass tourism. Many beauty spots and places of interest to visit. Amazingly cheap restaurants. Locals who really don't hate the English! Empty roads. Swimming in rivers and lakes (almost tropically warm in summer). A great place to escape the throng.
